Reaching out to our community

The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has thrust our community into unknown territory. We recognize this is a frightening time and that many in our church and the wider community have faced both health and economic impacts. The Community Service department is here to try to help.

If you have suffered a job loss or other substantial loss of income due to the COVID-19 pandemic and are unable to make ends meet, we encourage you to notify us as soon as possible to discuss how we can be of service. Please be aware that if you do not contact us to let us know that you have been affected by COVID-19, we will not know that you may need assistance during these unprecedented times.

If you are not currently facing a COVID-19 related hardship, please reach out to your fellow brothers and sisters. Call someone and offer help and spread positivity during this time of uncertainty. As a church, we want to ensure we are able to continue to support those in need. With your support whether through prayers, donation or virtual hugs we can fight through this as a team.  We are all in this together, and if we work together, we can weather this storm.

It is our hope that in the coming weeks and months we can provide assistance or point you to the appropriate research to mitigate some of the hardships faced by our community. We value all our members and will support efforts by our leaders to help support members of our community during this pandemic.

If you have questions, need to donate or in need of assistance, please contact The Community Service Team at  mtgcommunityservice@yahoo.com or  416-752-5333.

With sincerest appreciation,

Community Service Department
